Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is a professional degree that prepares students for careers as registered architects in the United States. This program is five years long.

Students must complete a series of professional courses in addition to a number of electives. Additionally, emphasis is placed on research, critical thinking, and analysis.

This course is perfect for students with diverse interests. In graduate school, they can concentrate on architecture or pursue other fields of study.

The program provides a solid foundation in technology and architecture. Additionally, students will learn to design structures within a cultural context. Through coursework and internships, students acquire the knowledge and skills required for professional practice.

The program is structured to meet National Architectural Accrediting Board requirements. These standards were created in collaboration with practicing architects and architecture organizations.

Students will study history, theory, technology, environmental systems, and construction technology. In addition, they will study building codes and advanced building technologies. The curriculum places emphasis on building design.

The Master of Architecture (M.Arch) program is an all-encompassing curriculum that prepares students for leadership roles in the architecture field. Students in this program gain knowledge of the history, philosophy, and practices of architecture as well as its theoretical and practical aspects. In addition, the curriculum for the Master of Architecture emphasizes integration, synthesis, and the engagement of landscapes, buildings, and technical systems.

The duration of the program is one, two, or three years. Architectural Theory, Statics and Structures, and Design Studio are among the required core courses that must be completed in the first year. By the second year, students are able to focus their studies on a variety of concentration areas.

Each candidate must submit a completed application form, a resume, and a creative portfolio. Non-native English speakers are also required to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score. If a candidate’s bachelor’s degree is in a field other than architecture, he or she must demonstrate proficiency in mathematics through college algebra.

To earn a doctorate in architecture, you must complete a dissertation, pass a qualifying exam, and pass two language examinations. Some programs require you to take exams on campus, while others allow you to do everything online. The amount of time required will depend on the number of courses you are enrolled in each semester.
