Upstate New York is a beautiful region, but much of it is undiscovered by tourists. Fortunately, there are many beautiful places to visit in this area. There are exciting outdoor activities and unique entertainment options, in addition to beautiful landscapes and towns. If you enjoy architecture, there is plenty to see in Woodstock, NY, including the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, a Buddhist monastery in the town. The structure is ornately decorated and houses a Tibetan Buddhist monastery.


Don't forget to take a boat ride while you're in upstate New York. Chautauqua Lake is a popular place for boating excursions. The Chautauqua Belle is one of its many attractions.


The New York State Capitol Building, designed in the style of a medieval castle, is a must-see for architecture fans. This magnificent structure has a million-dollar staircase and 77 intricately carved sandstone faces. You can walk around the building and take in the sights for free. The charming town of Skaneateles is another excellent destination for architecture enthusiasts. It has long been a favorite summer retreat for the rich and famous in the Finger Lakes region.
